Who Are We? I'm Glad You Asked!

  • We're classically trained, seasoned Certified Personal Trainers. We've all been training for most of our adult lives.

  • We also have many specialty certifications amongst us including: Corrective Exercise Specialists, Certified Health Coaches, Behavioral Change Specialists, Performance Enhancement Specialists, etc. 

  • All of that is to say: We have experience -- a lot of experience -- and that's what has allowed us to differentiate ourselves. If you've read this far, there's a very good chance you're the type of person we help.

We hear some pretty entertaining objections at times. Here are our top 3:

1. I’m too out of shape / I want to get in better shape first, before I start training.

First of all, what?! That’s like saying “I have to run this 26.2 mile marathon before taking a first step.” That’s like saying, “Keep Austin normal” - it doesn’t make sense!

Getting healthier is a journey, one that you take in a safe and effective manner. The reason why you sought out personal training is for the guidance, accountability and security. Negating that help only puts you at a disadvantage and the main reason why personal trainers are in the biz is purely to help. We want to provide the support and direction you need to succeed.

2. Don’t have time.

Alright, let’s just look at the math. There are 168 hours in a week, let’s say you’re good at get 7 hours of sleep a night (-49 hours), factor in a 30 min commute to work (-7 hours), minus a 40 hour work week = a total of 72 hours unaccounted for.

Trust us, you have time.

This is a matter of priorities. What are you making a priority instead of your health? Is it Netflix, is it Facebook or Instagram, something mindless? Beyonce, Michael Jordan and Steve Jobs all had the same amount of time in their days, we just have to look at what we care about and allocate time for that.

It is recommended that the average person get 75 minutes per week of vigorous activity in order to stay healthy- that’s an hour and 15 minutes a week! Resistance training not only builds muscle that improves your balance and makes you less likely to injure yourself -- it also burns calories to help keep your weight down. Imagine, you can increase your ability to take care of yourself now and later on in life with just 75 minutes! In order to have MORE time -- and more quality time -- invest in yourself now, before it’s too late.

3. It’s too expensive.

Again this one is about priorities.

We can look at the cost of medical treatment physical, psychological, long term and compare it with the cost of getting healthier now. You can put it off, you can brush your symptoms under the rug, you can ignore what you know you need to do...or you can invest in your health now. You can invest in your longevity, in your education, in being able to be with your family/friends longer.

We can increase the quality of our lives by making a simple choice to take control of our present and future or put it in the hands of someone else.

You’ve heard the phrase, “You get what you pay for.” This couldn’t be more true - especially with personal training. The price is high because the value is high. Investing in personal training, in exercise, in holistic health puts the reins in your hand. You can’t afford not to invest in yourself.
